Edward Mackay was carrying out the installation of a pumping main along the main road into Beauly, where we encountered a 750mm storm culvert pipe that had not being apparent on any service drawings. The level of the pumping main ensured we could go under the culvert pipe, however we needed a solution to be able to carry this out safely. Aly at Highland Boring was able to provide the perfect solution.

A telecom discussion, followed by a site visit ensured Aly was on site within a couple of days to carry out a 130mm bore under the culvert whilst installing a 110mm duct so that we could slip our 90mm pumping main under the culvert.

All Health and safety documentation was received in advance of the works proceeding and the works were carried out in an efficient and safe manner.
